These quotes really scare me, I can understand what it says, but hard to follow them.
- Embrace nothing: If you meet the Buddha, kill the Buddha. If you meet your father, kill your father. Only live your life as it is, Not bound to anything.
- He who loves 50 people has 50 woes; he who loves no one has no woes.
As far as i can understand, the first one means that when we try to hide ourselves behind someone who’s supposed to take care of us, we end up doing nothing on our own. So we should act as if there is no one who can take care of us, neither God (Buddha) nor our father, except ourselves. That way we’ll take charge of our lives and get to work.
The second one simply means that the more people you get in love with, the more number of sorrows will be shared with you and you’ll end up accepting those sorrows as your own.
Hope I got those right.
